A one-off piece inspired by a visit to Lucerne in Switzerland. It was winter and snow covered everything. I took a photo through the bare branches of a tree across the water to a small red barn.

Made in 2012 I combined hand printed fabrics with digital prints of the original photo and a rather lovely dark red hand dyed fabric. The fabrics were cut, collaged and pieced together. Once pieced the fabric was layered and machine quilted. The quilt is supplied with top and bottom hanging sleeve.
